SeptLogs: Documenting My Learnings, Builds, Projects, and My Journey as a Developer

I'm an aspiring software engineer and a passionate programmer. I enjoy learning and building things, and sometimes writing about them.
Welcome to SeptLogs 🎊
Hey there! I'm Saptaparno Chakraborty (also known as Sapto), a B.Tech CSE student, an aspiring software engineer from West Bengal, India. I’m passionate about learning by building, exploring new concepts, writing code, and turning ideas into functional, meaningful projects. Moreover, I’m into game development as a hobby.
Why did I name my blog “SeptLogs”?
I named it after myself. The word “Sept” is the literal translation of my nickname, Sapto, which means “seven” in Bengali. It feels uniquely personal. I plan to use "Sept" in other things too. For example, to name my portfolio, my major projects (probably not all of them though), and so on.
“SeptLogs” reads as:
“Sapto’s logs” = A collection of things I’m building, learning, thinking about, and reflecting on over time.
In this space, I will:
Write about what I’m learning or have learned (both development insights and life-as-a-developer experiences)
Share devlogs and behind-the-scenes of the projects I build
Reflect honestly on wins, roadblocks, growth, and lessons learned
Explore ideas, habits, tools, and mindsets that shape my growth
Document my long-term journey to becoming a skilled and well-rounded developer
Thanks for stopping by :)
I am excited to document my journey, learnings, and growth as a future software engineer, and one day, as a hobbyist indie game developer too.
